Regional Maintenance Manager
Mylton [email protected]
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mylton Palmer. I am the newest addition to the Tax Credit portfolio. My title is Regional Maintenance Manager. I have worked with the Housing Authority for 22 years and find it very challenging but exciting. I would never be comfortable working anywhere else. My primary goal is to make this department more work friendly and make the maintenance department more efficient. To the residents, I want to encourage you, that if you see me out on the sites, you can feel free to approach me, to discuss any concerns you may have. That way, I can be assured that you are comfortable communicating with the maintenance staff.

There is a PATCH Farmer’s Market serving up fresh, delicious and nutritious produce in the Northwest Gardens Community. Come and buy your produce for your family and taste the difference that locally grown fruits and vegetables make. Some days we will have a chef on-site doing cooking demonstrations and sharing our delicious samples.
A partnership with FRESH ACCESS BUCKS through FEEDING FLORIDA, will provide incentives on Florida grown produce to EBT/SNAP participants. They also provide us with veggie giveaways at each market.
Join us once a month on location in the Northwest Garden Community. Stay tuned for updates.

February has come and gone faster than a $20 bill in the supermarket! Winter is over and Spring is upon us. Let’s kick off the month of March and the start of Daylight Savings with a little more pep in our step and renewed energy for Spring cleaning. Second quarter unit inspections are coming up and this should be a priority for some of you. In addition you may be redecorating and have large items such as furniture to be discarded. Always remember to contact your leasing office to request information about bulk trash pick-up. It is quite unsightly to have an old sofa or mattress on the exterior of the property. Please help keep our communities clean and inviting. Have a great month of March and enjoy any festivities you are planning to attend!

I would like to remind everyone that ALL properties are NON-SMOKING if you must smoke please go to the sidewalk and do not through your butts on the ground.
When paying your rent PLEASE fill out your money order or check. Payable to: NWGV, PLEASE sign your money order or check and put your apartment number on it.
Work orders: Please call the office, 954-556-4100 Ext 2703, 2706 or 2705 to have a work order done, please do not ask the maintenance guys to come to your apartment to do something, they already have work orders to do from the day before. We track all repairs.
Please help us making your building safe by gently closing the gate when you enter or exit the building.

Leave the light on after a shower or bath for at least 1 hour to avoid moisture build up on the walls. This will prevent stains on the caulk in the tub.
