Friday Oct 11th Guild Room 10am - Dr Jonathan Kwan, Nottingham University, will speak on Viennese Culture 1890-1914. Come and be enthralled by the music of Strauss and Mahler (with an orchestra). This is an audio-visual presentation. Join us at this meeting and experience Viennese culture for yourself. We are a very friendly group and everyone is welcome.

Medium Walks Group
The next walk will be on Tuesday 29 October walking from the Longshaw Estate to Burbage Edge and Higger Tor. It is 5 miles long and classed as moderate due to the rocky path up and down the tor.We will start from Chilwell at 9.30 and there is a National Trust tea room at the start and finish.

Now the Autumnal weather is here how about joining us on a Monday afternoon in the Wesley room for a friendly, social game of bridge?We meet every Monday from 2pm to 4pm . We play rubber bridge, not duplicate bridge, and we are getting to grips with the ACOL system of bridge!Single, or with a partner, you would be very welcome. Practical Gardening Group please note that: At the first meeting of the Practical Gardening group it was decided that we would be meeting on the third Monday monthly, 10 am Wesley room, CRMC ,NOT the second Monday monthly as previously advertised.
