A friend and I were standing in line at a ast- oodrestaurant, waiting to place our order. Tere was a big signposted. No bills larger than $20 will be accepted.Te womanin ront o us, pointing to the sign, remarked, Believe me, iI HAD a bill larger than $20, I wouldnt be eating here.

A young farm couple, Homer and Darlene, got marriedand just couldnt seem to get enough lovin. In the morning,be ore Homer lef the house or the elds, they were in themood. When Homer came back rom the elds, they were inthe mood. And again at bedtime, they were in the mood. Te problem was noon time; it took Homer a hal hour totravel home and another hal hour to return to the elds andhe just wasnt getting enough work done. Finally Homer askedthe town doctor what to do. Homer, said the doctor, just take your rie out to theeld with you and when youre in the mood, re off a shot intothe air. Tat will be Darlenes signal to come out to you. Tenyou wont lose any eld time. Tey tried Doctors advice and it worked well or a while. But then Homer came back to the doctors office. Whats wrong? asked the Doctor. Didnt my idea

work? Oh, it worked real good, said Homer. Whenever I wasin the mood, I red off a shot like you said and Darlene wouldcome a-runnin. Wed nd a secluded place, make love, andthen shed go back home again. Good, Homer. So whats the problem? asked the Doctor. I aint seen Darlene since huntin season started.
