Working on the Margins:
Please be generous in this week’s special collection for the Cath-
olic Campaign for Human Development. In the United States ,
one in the eight people lives in poverty. With this collection,
you support programs that address the root causes of poverty
and provide a sustainable future for those struggling across the
country. In addition, 25% of the funds we collect remain in our
diocese to fund local antipoverty projects. Please prayerfully
consider how you can support this collection and those working
on the margins. More information about the Catholic Campaign
for Human Development can be found at www.usccb.org/cchd.
Carmelite Seculars
Are you called? Do you desire to learn and experience a deeper
spirituality? The mystical tradition in the Catholic Church, inspired
by St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross and St. Therese of Li-
sieux, explains how to live in a closer relationship with the living
Christ and the practical caring for others that flows from his rela-
tionship. They are Discalced Carmelite Seculars (OCDS), men and
women committed to living the fullness of God’s love through pray-
er and scripture, with the aid and guidance of our Lady. For more
information, please call Catherine Mlnarik at 508-988-5459. They
meet once a month at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church
in Grand Junction.

Our Thanksgiving Mass will be this Thursday, November 25 at
9:00 am at St. Mary of the Crown. We will not have a 7:30am
Mass that day. Also our office will be closed both Thursday,
November 25 and Friday, November 26. If you need anything
you can send us a message to [email protected] and
we will answer you as soon as possible.
Bulletin Update:
We have a new form to receive our weekly Bulletins. Starting
next weekend of November 27th, you will have the option to
receive your Bulletin electronically. For you who wish to re-
ceive it we will need your First and Last name and your email.

Por favor, esta semana sean generosos en nuestra colecta especial para
la Campaña Católica para el Desarrollo Humano. En los Estados Uni-
dos, una de cada ocho personas vive en pobreza. Con esta colecta,
ustedes apoyan los programas que tratan con las causas raíz de la po-
breza y proporcionan un futuro sostenible aquellos que luchan por salir
adelante en todo el país. Además, el 25% de los fondos que recauda-
mos permanece en nuestra diócesis para financiar proyectos locales
antipobreza. Por favor, en oración, consideren la manera de apoyar a
esta colecta y apoyar a aquellos que trabajan desde la periferia. Pueden

Seglares Carmelitas:
