Keep your fork!

After an elderly woman died, her family complied

with an intriguing instruction shed left for her burial.

As mourners passed by the casket, discovering a fork in

the womans right hand, they looked questioningly

toward her family members. They just smiled

knowingly.

Finally, during the funeral service, all became clear.When you eat a meal at someones house, said the

pastor, as they clear the table, they often say, Keep

your fork. It means something more is coming

dessert! surely the best part of the meal.

The pastor concluded, Our dear friend knew, as her earthly life ended, that

the best was yet to come. She wanted you to know that, too, so she insisted on

keeping her fork.

Childrens Ministry

In October all

children received

a UNICEF box to

collect change.

Boxes should bebrought back by

November 11th.

Preschool ClassFor Preschoolers who are about2 and ready to participate in aclass (preferably potty-trained).If you are unsure if your child isready, talk to the nursery staff orone of the preschool teachers.

Check out the Childrens ministry board in the lobby & in the Childrens

wing for information on upcoming events and ongoing programs

n u r s e r y C a r eNursery Care is available for infants through 2

during the 9:15 Sunday worship service. If you

require nursery care during the 11am Sunday Service

please contact the church office by the previous Friday

and we will be happy to provide a qualified nursery

staff person. Nursery care is also available for special

worship services (Lent services, etc.) Stop in the nursery

for a brochure with nursery information and policies.

We need more nursery staff. If you are interested in a once a month

position please contact Jean Graber 215-646-7334 [email protected].

Kindergarten ClassChildren in Pre-K andKindergarten will feel lovedwhile learning about Jesus love

and the wonderful world Godhas created for us.

a C t i V i t y b a g sActivity bags are available for useduring services. Look for the racknext to the Welcome Center in thelobby or ask an usher. Each bagcontains stories, crayons, games,puzzles with scriptures, etc, tohelp children who attend theservice.

F u n F r i D a y sOur monthly meeting for 1-5thgraders on the 2nd Friday of themonth 7pm-8:30pm. The firstmeeting will be on December14th. This is a time for the kids to

learn about God through differentthemes with fun crafts &activities.
