We don’t quite show our appreciation as we ought to, and some never show appreciation at all. I can’t help but think of the 10 lepers who cried out to Christ seeking healing as he was on his journey to Jerusalem. They cried, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” What happens next is where the story begins to unfold. His reply was quite the opposite of what we might expect. He said, “Go show yourselves to the priest.” You see it was customary in those days for a leper who considered himself clean to go show himself to the priest. The Bible says that as they turned and went they were healed. That my friend is the power of God! Though ten were healed, only one turned to give thanks. The challenge to share the gospel.

This month share the Gospel with someone at least once a day. Tell them what God has done for you. Nonetheless, let the Lord lead and guide you. So many times we get into a hurry and ignore opportunities the Lord has given us to share His word. Here are some tips:

• Pray seeking His direction and opportunity to share the Word

• Study His Word!

• Listen when He speaks and seize the opportunity He has blessed you with!

• Rely on Him!

This obviously is not a “one size fits all”. That’s why we should truly rely on Him because only through Him can we be a successful witness. Remember, someone shared the Gospel with you one day. You have the good news!! Share it with someone today! May the Lord receive all glory and honor!
