Scope of the Collaboration

Governance of the Collaboration
The ANA collaboration is governed by a Steering Group in which each party will have one seat and one vote.
Decisions are taken by consensus.
The Steering Group meets as it sees fit and oversees the collaboration.
The Steering Group will appoint and support a project manager for the activity. This individual will also chair the Project Team.
Participation in any of the governing bodies by a Party is at its own expense.

ANA-300G – Memorandum of Understanding
Acceptable Use Policy
The Parties are free to use the ANA System to carry any traffic. This traffic is governed by each Party’s Acceptable Use Policy. The Parties may extend access to the ANA System to other Parties when the data transported belongs to the research and education community.
The specific policies for traffic engineering on the ANA System and the distribution of bandwidth among partners will be included in the ANA Federated Operations document, as agreed to and approved by the Steering Group.
