LA NRENs PR NetworkLA NRENs PR NetworkJulio Cardozo, RAU (Uruguay): I appreciate of our group the desire to be alwyas in touch
with each other, share things, enhance our knowledge and apply it on specific experiences in our networks. When I became a member of this group I learned to work in a more structural way about topics related to visibility and its strategies for a proper implementation.
Monica Aguilera, REUNA (Chile): What I value most is the possibility to meet us in person, to create bonds of friendship in the long term, and most of all to collaborate and share experiences, exchange knowledge and support the disemination of the work of our networks.
Laura Casasa, RedCONARE (Costa Rica): What I value the most is the creative and productive capacity of the group, taking into account the economic and development diffiiculties of the advanced networks in different countries. Besides, I love the great affection and team spirit that exists within all members. I felt welcome from the beginning. I have learned to value things that are available and to move forward with ideas and projects.

LA NRENs PR NetworkLA NRENs PR NetworkIxchel Perez RAGIE and RAICES (Guatemala and El Salvador): What I value the most is the
group's ability to unite efforts and creativity to make new things that impact most strongly in the region. Together we sound “louder” and our voices can be hear in a more powerful fashion. In addition, the collaboration to promote the activities of different countries is exceptional.
Martha Avila, CUDI (Mexico): We were able to link the activities developed in the Latin American networks, through the dissemination of events acomplishing a collaborative work among academics and researchers, a key objective of the NRENs. A good example of this was the Global Virtual Day where we join forces for the participation by videoconference and through streaming of more than 60 institutions in Latin America, Europe and the Caribbean.
Sonia Contreras, RAAP (Peru): The great value of our group is the ability of carry out collaborative work, which enabled us to strengthen the visibility of our academic networks in a national and international level, and to overcome difficulties. Being a member of the team is important because we can move forward strategically, improve our communication channels to facilitate the disemination process, and strengthen the relations of work, friendship and fellowship.

LA NRENs PR NetworkLA NRENs PR NetworkCamilo Ocazionez Jaimes, RENATA (Colombia): The Public Relations Network is vital to
the development of the RENATA communication activities as long as it makes possible to increase the visibility of the institution in the 15 countries connected to RedCLARA, plus Spain, the Caribbean and TERENA , where our network is present. For the particular case of RENATA, has also been very important as a support group for the design of collaborative strategies that will result in more accurate and efficient communication desitions. Due to the accompaniment of this network of relationships, RENATA is the academic network with more publicated news in TERENA, followed closely by CUDI ... This results in the visibility of our networks in Europe. And finally, the communications media of the Public Relations Network has been very useful to articulate the academic community of the countries.
Tania Altamirano (RedCLARA): Two heads think better than one and in this case 10 heads had meant a lot of good ideas! The results are collaborative activities, a better and efficient dissemination of the events developed in the national networks and the establishment of a human network aiming to improve and enhance the communications activities developed around the advanced networks. Was it easy? No! But the results are proving that the effort was worth it.
