Tempo is NSF Telecom’s response to the market demand on an open, low-entry and scalable Service Enabler Platform. Tempo SS7 gateway optimally serves converging telecom business where differentation from the competitors' offerings is one of the major issues. The differentiated offerings are also a key to better or at least sustained ARPU figures when the competition is getting harder and the churn tends to get higher. The modern scalable structure of Tempo plaform and the NSF Telecom proven competence in providing applications on this robust platform allow the introduction of new competitive services in short period of time.

Tempo bridges on-line value added services to business systems
A practical example of utilizing real-time functions of Tempo is a convergent charging solution. In the picture below Value Added Services running on NSF service platform are Number Portability (NP), convergent multi channel pre/postpaid service (PAY) with dynamic balance management and Virtual Private Network (VPN) that provides the companies with one bill and the users with more efficient ways to communicate.
TEMPO is built upon robust HW and SW architecture. Tempo platform provides High Availability with duplicated SS7 Hardware and carrier class SW architecture (parallel SS7 stacks). Tempo services are running on the server cluster (19” rack) including in minimum two industry standard (x86 based) servers, and hot-pluggable RAID hard discs (minimum 3) in the shared memory.
