It is an official version of the NSW Government logo and represents the identity and values of the NSW Government.

Any use of the Rainbow Waratah logo during the 2021 Mardi Gras requires endorsement from the LGBTQIA+ sector group, Pride in NSW and must be approved by the relevant cluster representative and the NSW Government Brand team.

Any use of the Rainbow Waratah logo outside of the 2021 Mardi Gras period must be endorsed by Pride in NSW and approved by the NSW Government Brand team and Minister for Customer Service.

All staff displaying the Rainbow Waratah logo are representatives of the NSW Government and must act in line with the Code of Conduct.
