ELIGIBILITY

Applicants for the NUS Scholarships/ NUSSports Scholarship must:• Be Singapore Citizens;• Have strong leadership qualities and

potential;• Have a good co-curricular activities and

record, and

• Have offered Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-levels, diploma from a polytechnicin Singapore or equivalent high schoolqual i f icat ions (e .g . Internat ionalBaccalaureate).

Scholarships &Sports Scholarship

The NUS Scholarships are highly covetedscholarships awarded to high calibreindividuals who demonstrate academicexcellence, present excellent co-curricularactivities records and exhibit outstandingleadership qualities. NUS Scholars areexpected to contribute significantly to theNUS community while in NUS, and to emergeas dynamic global leaders who are capableof effecting a positive change to society afterthey graduate.

The five tiers of NUS Scholarships offered toprospective students are as follow:

• NUS Global Merit Scholarship• NUS Undergraduate (Merit) Scholarship• NUS Undergraduate Scholarship• Kent Ridge Undergraduate (Merit)

In addition to the abovementioned NUSScholarships, NUS also offers the NUS SportsScholarship for highly-talented individualswho possess outstanding academic andsports participation and representationrecords.
