One of greatest strengths of Northwest Florida’s West Bay area is the workforce. The region is home to a motivated, dedicated, and highly skilled workforce with a mean age that is the state’s youngest. The region has a strong government and military influence which has helped to develop the labor force talent and facilitated growth of the area’s key industries.

The influence of the military has spilled over into a large population of individuals who, when separating from the military, opt to make the region their home. This group combined with the number of graduates from local colleges and universities contributes to the growing labor pool.

This represents a density that stands up to any location in the nation. Furthermore, Florida is a right to work state.

With a population of 575,000 and the highest projected growth rate in Northwest Florida at 30% over the next 25 years, Northwest Florida’s West Bay area boasts a strong and stable labor force of more than 282,000.
