Fishing Pool Game
• Purchase or ask sponsor to help buy , plastic kiddie pool, dowel, fishing line, plastic fish, magnets
• Large prizes could be shirts, gift cards and gifts from sponsors
• Small prizes could be packages of Goldfish crackers, Swedish fish, fortune fish, gummy worms and lures.
Prizes would include next event, social media and website information
Fishing Pool Game
• Where: Anywhere on campus, Mozingo reopening April 6th
• When: Organizational Fairs, before Mozingo
tournament, Bobbypolooza, community events like county fair
• Why: People like to play games and win free prizes and
gets the Northwest Fishing name out • How to Promote: Create an event on University
calendar, take advantage of advertising around campus, post on social media at least a week in advance, contact student media
Hooked on Big Brothers Big Sisters
• Partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and having fishing event or small tournament
• Work with sponsors to provide equipment or prizes for little brothers and sisters
Hooked on Big Brothers Big Sisters
• Where: Colden Pond, Mozingo or Nodaway Lake – somewhere well known
• When: Weekend in spring or fall
• Why: Good for sponsors, media coverage opportunity, getting involved and recognized in community
• How to Promote: Press release with details regarding event, ask Big Brothers Big Sisters to promote, create Facebook event, promote throughout planning process on blog
