Can We Make a Difference in Our City? The answer to that ques-tion is a resounding
YES! We can make a difference in our city spiritually and practically. We are doing that each month when we distrib-ute food, provide dental services, and tutor children. You do that when you invite someone to attend a service with you and you see them come to Christ. We can make a difference through our times and through our gifts. Do you see the What Can $12 Do box?
You can make a difference by giving $12 to provide school supplies to a student so maybe a teacher doesn’t spend their own money to buy those sup-plies. Or maybe you’ll volunteer to help with Convoy of Hope in October. Could you give one Saturday to impact 7500-10,000 of your neighbors here in OKC? Sure you could. Could you come this Friday, July14 at 6 pm and help with our Family Celebration for our Bible Clubs provided by Operation Impact. We’re doing two Bible Clubs this week. Sunday night, we’re helping Rockwood Baptist do a VBS in their neighborhood just south of us across the interstate. Could you make a difference there? Sure you could? Could you make a gift to the Gideons International to distribute even more Bibles in 2017. They gave out almost 92 million Bibles in 2016. Sure you could? Could you invest in our Children’s Ministry by teaching and vol-unteering? Sure you could. But there’s a BIG difference between COULD and WOULD. Would you make a difference this summer? I believe you will. I Love You!
In 2016 the Gideons International dis-tributed 91.8 million Bibles worldwide!
Sunday, July 16th hear a brief report
from Gideon James Howell in the morn-ing service and have the privilege of giv-ing to this wonderful ministry to see that
even more Bibles are given in 2017
WHAT CAN $12 DO?
It can buy enough school supplies for ONE student at Buchanan Elementary to use for the whole school year to do homework.
We can’t solve the education crisis in
Oklahoma but what if we made a difference ONE student at a time?
Giving envelopes are at the Welcome Center. Gifts are needed by Sunday,
July 23rd!
Convoy of Hope is coming to OKC on Saturday, Oct. 7th at Woodson Park.
Plan is to provide food, shoes, health re-sources, and family photos and more to
7500-10,000 people in OKC!
Lots of ways to volunteer! More to come.

Greetings!
Mandy and I are very excited to announce that we are expecting a little girl! It has been a dream come true for Mandy and I to have a boy and a girl and I am so thankful that God fulfilled that dream. Our little bundle of joy is supposed to make her debut during the first week of November. Prayers for her and for Mandy are always appreciated.
I am constantly amazed at the goodness of the God we serve. These past few months have brought many difficulties and chal-lenges. Deaths of loved ones, frayed relationships, various hardships that kept us up at night. But, looking back at all of it, I can only come up with two words. But God. God brought us peace during the passing of my mother and my aunt. God mended those relationships. God made a way when we couldn't find a way. The list goes on and on. And through each valley, our relationship with Him has grown deeper and sweeter.
A man named Roger Bennett was a hero of the faith for me. He was an incredibly talented musician who struggled with Leukemia for almost 12 years. I’ll never forget something I heard him say after he had gone through his second bone marrow transplant. He said if somebody told him they could take away the can-cer, but that he’d also have to give up the walk with Christ that he had gained during his battle, that he would keep the cancer. His relation-ship had become deeper and much sweeter because God was an ever present help and comfort in his life. Oh that we would have that kind of faith.
Blessings,
Cody

Our crew had a wonderful time visiting the wild west
in southern Oklahoma recently. Sipokni West is
located in Reagan, OK and is used as a set for western films. We were treated very
kindly by the folks and enjoyed the Lost Spur
Café. Our folks recommend the catfish and burgers
should you find your way down for a visit.
PABC will be offering transportation to this Labor Day weekend event.
Sign up will be begin soon.
