Born on August 4, 1961 in Hawaii

His mother : Ann Dunham, a white American from Kansas

His father : Barack Obama, Sr., a black man in Kenya.

Raised by a single mother and grandparents from rural Kansas.

He then transferred to New York City, where he graduated from Columbia University in 1983.

In 1985, Obama moved to Chicago, where he became a community organizer with a church-based group seeking to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods.

In a short period of 12 years(1996-2008), Obama has changed from a “Nobody” to a “President”.

USA is a country where"all things are possible" with hard work, sacrifice and perseverance, and where anyone can grow up to be president.
