1 JOHN 5:3 (NIRV)Here is what it means to love

God. It means that we obey his commands. And his

commands are not hard to obey.

JOHN 14:23, 2423 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My

Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home

with him. 24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching.

The commandments define, make clear, what the basic

elements of love are and what direction our actions should take if we would show love.

This means that obedience to God is the proof of love.

Being obedient has to do with being submissive to

the restraint or command of authority.

The world is headed into one of the worst storms that has ever come over the face of

the earth and if we as Christians are not walking in obedience to Christ, we can

end up in disaster as well.

It was always through the obedience of the children of Israel to God's command that they walked in victory.

#4 OBEDIENCE PROLONGS LIFE.

Proverbs 1:3; Eph. 6:1-3

Obedience is able to break the curse, set a bad attitude straight, and dissipate jealousy. It leads to discipline, spiritual growth and opens up the portal connection to covenant and promises.

I choose to obey Him because I love Him.
