Occasions is the magazine for celebrating in style. We’re a whole new breed apart from the usual wedding-specific media, because although brides are our readers, so is everyone else.

Think about it. Many of the elements it takes to put on an extraordinary wedding are also the most important details to consider when planning a mitzvah, gala, fundraiser, birthday party, cocktail soiree, or business launch. Event essentials like venues, food, invitations and entertainment are all on the list. For that reason, we bridged the gap between events and blazed a new trail to discovering painless party planning, talented, quality-centric vendors and fashion-forward fetes for our readers.

EDITORIALOccasions is serious about bringing our readers all things event related with a sweet scoop of style on the side. We report on event-planning related content that is fresh and fashionable, filled with great ideas, new to the scene and the personal favorites of our Editor, Heather Vreeland & our hand-selected collection of contributing bloggers. We feature real events from weddings, mitzvahs, birthday parties, charity galas, corporate events, launch parties, and anniversary parties too. Our editorials focus on what it takes to host a spectacular event and that’s it. We don’t tell our audience how they can “do-it-themselves” or how they can save a few dollars because that just alienates them from our advertisers.

It is perfect bound and printed semi-annu-ally. Inside the pages of Occasions Magazine you’ll find beautifully done editorial style advertisements, showcase on real events, venues and vendor directory, ideas on event styles and themes, spotlights on event professionals and more. Print ad sizes include two-page spreads, full and half pages.

ONLINEOccasions a la Mode is the place for celebrating in style and blog of Occasions Magazine. Our online marketing program delivers a dedicated base of loyal readers who are not just shopping for weddings, but continuously come back with each new occasion they have on the calendar. Businesses can adver-tise online in various ways including business profiles in our vendor guide, large and small banners and sponsored blog posts.

EVENTSOccasions Magazine hosts various reader and client events throughout the year. Many of these events are open to our advertisers to sponsor and contribute swag materials. We are also media sponsors of several bridal and mitzvah planning shows hosted by other companies.

If instructions are not followed, Occasions Magazine will not be held responsible. Ads must be submitted via FTP and the address below or emailed to [email protected]. A minimum file resolution of 300 dpi is required. Low resolution logos and photographs pulled from the internet are not acceptable art for print. No PMS links are available. While we strive to match our client’s color specifications, we cannot guarantee a perfect match. No hardcopy proofs will be provided before final artwork is sent to print.
