addition to above following points were also discussed during the Board meeting and. h the permission of the chair:-

The Board discussed the letter dated 06.01.2016 from Sh. Sunil Verma,Mis Verma Associates, Gurudwara complex, Sadar Bazar, Amritsar Cantt inwhich the individual had commented upon the working system of CantonmentBoard office and works pertaining to different sections of the office. The Boardwas apprised about the contents of the reply submitted to the Principal DirectorDE, WC, Chandigarh on 23.02.2016. Board noted the same. The Board alsodiscussed the contents of a letter dated 11.02.2016 from Mis Verma Associatesaddressed to the Principal Director, DE, WC, Chandigarh regarding demand offunds and misuse of funds by the Board by repairing footpaths by providinginterlocking tiles and ongoing repair works in Sadar Bazar area etc. Boardunanimously rejected the statements made by Sh. Sunil Verma (Mis VermaAssociates) in his aforesaid letter being false and misleading.

-~ The matter of requirement of manpower of different categories (rates for whichstand already approved vide CBR No. 3 dated 30.12.2015) was discussed on30.12.2015 and during discussion Board had authorized the Chief ExecutiveOfficer to engage the manpower as per requirements for attending differenturgent field works. The same was noted by the Board and approved the same.

jii)The matter of publication of a news in 'Dainik Bhaskar' dated 24.02.2016 andcomments of Sh. Vinod Kumar Mahajan (Mis Mahajan Builders) regarding repairworks being carried out in respect of community hall, sadar bazar was discussedduring the Board meeting in detail. The Board viewed the publication serousfy.After discussion, JE was directed to monitor the progress of the work and ensurethat the work is carried out strictly as per the specification .: ~1f~eBoard resolved

!xiv) Board resolved that after establ/shmentof laboratory, X-Ray room etc in theCantt Soard Dispensary, the charges will be applied as per those charges beingadopted in State Govt. Hospitals as this will be step towards increase in revenueas well.

xv) Board resolved that the footpath from MH to Bhangra Chowk (both sides roadmargins) be repaired by putting interlocking tiles and approved estimatesamounting to Rs. 21,12,596/-.
