Recycling Market Has Three Segments:
1. Residential – Covered by City Curbside Recycling Program.
2. Large businesses – they bale and sell cardboard and paper.
3. Small to Medium Commercial:a) Affordable cardboard/paper recycling for ~
3,000 medium/small sized businesses.b) Plastic, styrofoam, newspaper, books, etc.c) Multi-family residential recycling.
![Page 34: October 5 Member Meeting Presentation](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022051701/568c0d5e1a28ab955a8c73f5/html5/thumbnails/34.jpg)
Solution Problem:
Logistics – Cost is to high.
Strategy:1.Create a network that will route their cardboard/ paper from the waste stream to a recycler.2.Focus network output to GBNS recycling partner – DTK, LLC.3.DTK expands materials accepted to create a single source process.4.Expand the network to make the process self supporting.
![Page 35: October 5 Member Meeting Presentation](https://reader034.vdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022051701/568c0d5e1a28ab955a8c73f5/html5/thumbnails/35.jpg)
Expand the network ...
• Locate new clients to service. Are you recycling, everything you can?Do you know others who would?
• Create a public drop off.Being built now at 11th and Madison
• Expand pick ups.• Add public drop offs.
