October’s Story of the Month: The Clever Monkey

BRAIN TRAINING ACTIVITIES


It has been a month filled with memories, laughter and learning. Our

children were engaged in brain training activity about forest animals.

The children were flashed animal cards placed in random position in the

forest They arranged the animals in the same order as shown on their

template from memory. Our flash card activities were ideal stimulation

and fascinating to our children. It made our learning journey for the

month fun and challenging.

Once, there wastiger who wascaught by ahunter. He triedto escape in thecage but hecouldn’t get

through. After awhile a deerpassed by, heasked for helpedand promised notto eat the deer.

After the deer opened the cage, the tiger jumped unto the deer andhe was about to eat him when a monkey came. The monkey askedwhat happened and the deer told him the story.

The monkey asked the tiger to go back to where hewas when the deer helped him. The tiger went backto the cage and the monkey closed it as fast as hecould.

we are learning is Time. We learnt how to tell our time and made

and design our own clock. It was so nice to learn how to tell and

read time because it has significant implication in our lives.

With our story of the month The Clever Monkey, The

children were able to learn how to move like a

monkey, tiger, elephant with our song, The Monkey

Dance. All of them can sway their hips and body as

they move to the beat of the music.
