ICT Week 2016
ICT EXPO(17th to 20th May 2016)

OVERVIEWICT Week 2016 aims to showcase the local ICT sector, its development and promote its offerings. The Department of ICT is organizing an ICT Expo as part ICT week 2016. The Expo is to take place from the 17th to the 20th of May 2016. All registered ICT equipment vendors and licensed ICT service providers are invited to participate. Vendors and service providers can organize to sell any ICT related equipment/Material or services during the Expo.
ICT Expo 2016 provides a platform for participants to present their latest products and solutions to the public at large. Participants are invited to showcases products like computer peripherals and accessories, computer software and solutions, computer systems and network, network products, telecommunications services, Bluetooth, mobile phones and networks as well as satellite communication equipment and many more ICT related services and equipment. Participants are also encouraged to have special promotions for their products or services during the Expo days that are accessible at the Expo site itself. We want to make the event a must visit for all locally.
ICT Expo aims at creating more awareness on emerging ICT technologies and bringing ICT closer to citizens and making them more affordable.
The ICT Expo will be given media exposure as part of the ICT week 2016 activities.
EXPO VENUE
To be notified later. Space will be assigned to participants and there is no charge for floor space.
ELIGIBILITY
Any Registered ICT equipment vendor or licensed service provider.
PROCEDURE TO REGISTER
Fill in the ICT Expo Participant application for (Can be downloaded from www.ict.gov.sc or collected from the Reception Department of ICT)
Submit to Department of ICT by email - [email protected] or hand deliver to Department of ICT reception on or before 19th of April 2016. All applications will be treated on a first come first serve basis.
Please note that applications submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
