Summer Will Be Here Before You Know ItJ-Camp at the Oshman Family JCC is one of the top JCC summer camps in the nation. This summer, let us show you why! Registering for camp is easier than ever. You and your family will use a personal online camp account to register, fill out health form information and make last minute changes to your authorized to pick-up list. Visit www.paloaltojcc.org/jcamp to create or log in to your account!

Dear Parents,Get ready for your child’s best summer ever. As your new Camp Director, I am committed to providing a fabulous experience for your children.

We have created some amazing new special interest camps and are re-energizing our traditional camps as so many children love the variety of activities our traditional camps offer. We have also reconfigured many camps to more closely reflect developmental age groups. For example, Sababa (Hebrew for Cool) was formerly for grades 4–6 is now for grades 4–5. Kohavim (Hebrew for stars) is for grades 6–8.

We are partnering with The Media Center in Palo Alto to offer a fantastic Computer Animation and TV Studio Production program for our older campers. We are also working with several outdoor education centers like the Marine Mammal Center to give your kids an up close look at marine life, the ocean and our environment.

New this year, cooking and baking camps will have your kids wanting to cook dinner for you! These camps will visit Boudin Bakery in San Francisco as well as the phenomenal TCHO (pronounced Cho) Chocolate Factory in San Francisco.

Camp is more than exciting activities and new friendships. It’s also about our counselors and the connections they make with your children. We have an exceptional staff lined up with many returning counselors you loved last year. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming, fun environment for your children to explore, learn, play and make new friends.

Come out and play with us!

Warmly,Joni
