Madison, WI
Join advocates and survivors from all around the state in Madison during this
free event to advocate with elected officials on issues that are critical to the
safety and empowerment of Wisconsin survivors of gender-based violence!
Participants will spend the morning at the Madison Concourse hotel learning
about pressing policy issues related to domestic abuse and sexual assault, as
well as how to talk effectively with legislators. The afternoon will be spent at
the Wisconsin State Capitol taking direct action to influence policy change
en masse. We encourage participation from interested survivors as we
provide a supportive environment for direct legislative advocacy.
