M25, and has opened a brand-new sports bar and

restaurant. This new facility includes a branded

coffee house, sports bar, relaxation areas, all major

sporting events shown on Sky Sports and ESPN and

private dining and function areas, which offer the

perfect setting to relax, unwind and discuss your

meeting with friends and colleagues.

championship golf course set in the rolling hills of

the North Hampshire countryside, this makes us

the perfect venue to celebrate your special day.

Old Thorns is licensed for Civil ceremonies for

up to 250 guests in six locations around the

hotel. We have carefully selected our packages

to suit all tastes and budgets. Each package

includes an arrival drink, three-course wedding

breakfast, wine throughout your meal, a toast drink

and other special touches including overnight

accommodation in one of our honeymoon suites.

GolfOld Thorns magnifi cent championship golf

course ranges across the rolling hills of the North

Hampshire countryside and offers fantastic views at

every turn. Mature trees, natural springs, lakes and

testing bunkers give real character to the course

which, while kind to the less experienced golfer,

holds some surprises for the player who enjoys a

challenging round in a classic English landscape.

The par 72 course has an illustrious history, being

designed by the BBC’s ‘voice of golf’ and the club

president, Peter Alliss. Its offi cial opening saw

Seve Ballesteros, Jack Nicklaus, Isao Aoki and the

then reigning Open Champion, Bill Rogers, play a

competitive four ball. Their scorecards can be seen

today in the new Sports Bar.
