What is an Editorial?An editorial is an article written by or under the

direction of the editor of a newspaper or magazine, or a statement broadcast on radio or television.

Editorials give opinions on important social, political, economic, or legal issues of the day and intend to persuade readers to agree to a particular point of view.

An editorial, printed on the editorial page of newspapers, is an example of persuasive writing and

What is an Editorial?

An article that states the newspaper’s stance on a particular issue. Basically, it is a persuasive essay that offers a solution to a problem.

Editorials usually do not shy from controversy, in the hope of not only presenting the issues to the reading public, but also of drawing response from the public and attracting new readership

The pork barrel system is being used to channel people’s money to private accounts through bogus non-governmental organizations. It is paradigmatically cancerous and has to be excised immediate. The government has to institute a new transparent system that would ensure the proper delivery of people’s money to genuine recipients and intended programs.

One senator involved in the billion peso scandal goes by the alias “Baboy,” an informal term that refers to someone who does immoral acts. Given the size of this particular senator involved in the said issue and the popular name of the scandal, the moniker of the senator suits well.
