Alloy 42/Alloy 41 A nickel-iron controlled-expansion alloy containing 42% nickel. It has a low

and nominally constant coefficient of thermal expansion in the 85°F (20°C) to 570°F (300°C) temperature range.

Alloy 36 One of the controlled expansion alloys. It has an expansion rate roughly

10% that of standard carbon steel. Also known as Invar 36, Alloy E36 or simple Alloy 36, the only alloy with lower CTE is Super Invar, or Alloy 32-6, this alloy is rare and is produced by the mill in heat lot quantities.

Alloy 400 A nickel-copper alloy with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance

to sea water, acidic/alkaline media and other environments.

Alloy K500 A precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the corrosion

resistance of Alloy 400 with greater strength and hardness.

Alloy 625 A nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with the addition of niobium for

strengthening. The alloy resists many severely corrosive environments and is very resistant to pitting/crevice corrosion.

Alloy 718 A precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing significant

amounts of iron, niobium, and molybdenum along with lesser amounts of aluminium and titanium. It combines corrosion resistance and high strength with outstanding weldability including resistance to post weld cracking.

Alloy 600 - Nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at high temperatures

and resistance to stress corrosion cracking, high purity water and caustic corrosion. Used from cryogenic to elevated temperatures of 200 deg F (1093 deg C). It is non magnetic and readily weldable, resists steam and mixtures of steam , air and CO2. Applications: Industries, Petrochemical, Chemical, pulp and paper, food processing, Nuclear and heat treatment industries.

Hast.C276 Versatile corrosion-resistant alloy, usually does not need to be solution

heat treated after welding and has vastly improved fabricability, excellent resistance to localized corrosion and to both oxidizing and reducing media.

Hast.C22 A most versatile nickel-chromium molybdenum-tungsten alloy available

today with improved resistance to both uniform and localised corrosion as well as to a variety of mixed industrial chemicals. The C-22 alloy exhibits superior weldability and is used as overalloy filler wire and weld overlay consumables to improve resistance to corrosion.

31803/F51 Duplex Stainless Steel. 22% chromium duplex (austenitic/ferritic) steel

(2205 type) with moderate/good strength and good general corrosion/stress, corrosion cracking resistance. For Oil and Gas, brewing, power generation and chemical industry applications.

32750/F53 Super Duplex Stainless Steel. 25% chromium copper-free super duplex

(austenitic/ferritic) steel (also known as 2507). Good strength and ductility combined with high marine corrosion resistance. Primarily used for Oil and Gas and Marine applications.

32760/F55 Super Duplex Stainless Steel. 25% chromium super duplex (austenitic/

ferritic) steel with 0.75% tungsten and copper. Good strength/ductility combined with high corrosion resistance. For Oil and Gas, Defense, Pollution Control, Chemical/Petrochemical and Marine applications.

17-4 Cond A, H900,H1025,H1075 H1150D One of the original precipitation hardened Stainless steel grades. Comes

with a blend of corrosion and oxidation resistance. Characteristics include toughness, excellent mechanical properties and high strength at elevated temperatures. Easily forged, formed and welded. Applications include pump shafts, bolts, gears, bearings, spindles, turbine parts, valve components and temperature sensor products. Available in condition ‘A’, solution annealed and heat treated to H1150. Other heat treated conditions available on request i.e. H900 & H1020.

316/316L Stainless Steel - Improved machinability 316/316L - Bar and Hollow bar available from stock - Up to 450 mm dia from stock

316Ti/1.4571 Type 316L Ti is an improved corrosion resistant chrome-nickel steel alloy

with high content of Molybdenum and some Titanium. It is not a typical free machining grade and therefore not recommended for difficult high speed machining process.

316S11/1.4404 An austenitic stainless steel with added molybdenum to improve corrosion

resistance (better than 304) particularly in chloride environments. Use 316L for welding applications.

Ni-Resist Ni-Resist is a high nickel metal used to resist acid, caustic, and salt solutions.

Also for valve guides, insecticide pumps, flood gates, piston ring bands, sea water valves, pump bodies, and pump section bells. Additional use - caustic pump casings, valves, and pump impellers.

Nitronic 50/60 Nitronic 50/60 Stainless Steel provides a combination of corrosion

resistance and strength not found in any other commercial material. This austenitic stainless steel has corrosion resistance greater than that provided by types 316, 316L, 317 and 317L plus approximately twice the yield strength at room temperatures.

Titanium Gr.2 Commercially Pure Grade 2 is the most frequently employed unalloyed

titanium grade. It provides moderate strength (typical yield strength 352 MPa) combined with good ductility and formability and excellent weldability.

Titanium Gr.5 Ti-6AI-4V (Grade 5), classed as an alpha-beta alloy, is the most widely used

of the high strength titanium alloys. The alloy combines its good mechanical strength and low density (4.42 kg/dm3) with excellent corrosion resistance in many media.

AISI 416/431/420 Grade 416/431/420 stainless steel is a martensitic heat treatable chromium

steel. Grade 416/431/420 has the highest machinability of any stainless steel due to the addition of sulphur which forms manganese sulphide inclusions, this sulphur addition also lowers the corrosion resistance, weldability and formability. This alloy is magnetic in all conditions and is widely used to manufacture screws, nuts, bolts, fasteners, gears and pinions.
