No winter was but summer came behind, Each hollow crests the wave, They push each other in light and shade; Be steady then and brave. With all the economic trouble people are facing, it is natural to feel depressed and the rise of wrong thoughts in ones mind. Vivekananda says this is natural. He says through steady practice you have to make higher spiritual experiences your own. We have to bring the super consciousness into our conscious state. It is only a question of time, if we follow the spiritual path steadily with faith in the Lord, we will succeed and victory will be ours. As long as man has not realized God, he thinks he is free. It is God Himself who keeps this error in man. Otherwise sin would have multiplied. Man would not have been afraid of sin, and there would have been no punishment for it. Those who have realized God are aware that free will is a mere appearance. In reality man is the machine and God its Operator, man is the carriage and God its Driver. --Balaji Temple board

SABHAYA BHYANTARASUCHI || Whether impure or pure, under all conditions, Who ever remembers the Lord, becomes purified inwardly and outwardly.

UTTATHA JAGRATHA PRAPYA VARAN NIBHODHATA Arise! Awake! And realize the Truth following the great teachers. Truth cannot be realized with out struggle. All life is known to undergo struggle. Everybody is struggling to achieve something or other. But spiritual struggle is a struggle for consciousness. Let us not be afraid of struggles.

HARI OM N. Swamiji returned back from a very successful trip to India. Swamiji visited the silversmith who is finalizing the details on the silver Kavacham for the murtis of Sri Vittala and Sri Rukmini. We have now registered a sister non-profit organization in Bangalore, India. The goal of the sister organization is to provide medical services and Vedic/general education to the poor and needy in India. On June 1, the temple performed the annual Ganesh Abhishekam. This day being a Saturday, Abhishekam was also performed for Sri Venkateshwara. Abhishekam was performed in honor of Lord Ganesha on occasion of Sankatahara Chathurti. On June 26th, Abhishekam was performed to Sri Mahalakshmi along with the weekly Devi puja. Poem by Swami Vivekananda (“Meditation and Spiritual Life”); very much applicable in today’s environment. If the sun by the cloud is hidden a bit, If the welkin shows but gloom, Stillhold on yet a while, brave heart, The victory is sure to come.
