In a bizarre accident, an overladen lorry overturned andcrushed a biker passing by on the night of July 26 nearKannammapet crematorium, T. Nagar.
The lorry, overloaded with tomatoes, overturned when thedriver lost control while negotiating a curve.
A biker passing by was crushed to death under its weight. Thedriver also suffered injuries.

Swetha Suresh (a resident of Postal Colony2nd Street, West Mambalam) won the firstprize for whistling western classical songs andCarnatic and Tamil movie songs at the WorldWhistling Convention held in Tokyo, Japanlast week.
50 whistlers from all over the world partici-pated in the event.
Swetha is a member of Indian WhistlersAssociation. She is regularly invited to whis-tling events around the world. She is multi-talented and is adept in singing, dancing andfilm editing. She is also an accomplished soundengineer.
Last October, she got her name included inthe Asia, India and Tamilnadu Book of Recordsby whistling 197 songs of different genres for 18hours in an event in Chennai.
She has presented more than 250 whistlingconcerts of film music.
