Ahmedabad is organizing a one day symposium on “Trends in Pharmaceuticals”

on 29th January, 2016.

This symposium is supported by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of

Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India, to promote new Drug Discovery

Research programs in India and to strengthen the Pharmaceutical Industry.

The symposium has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive

overview of the latest research happening in the field of Drug Discovery.

All scientists, industry professionals, researchers, and students interested in this

important area of research are encouraged to attend the symposium.

Scope of Symposium

New Drug Discovery involves immense resources and long gestation period. The

symposium is aimed at discussing various challenges, opportunities and way

forward for strengthening the drug discovery research.

The symposium will be useful for the students, scholars, scientists, faculty

members and industry representatives .

A number of eminent personalities from academia and industry have given their

consent to be part of this symposium. The symposium will include plenary

lectures and oral presentations which include various aspects of Drug Discovery,

Molecular Biology, Biological - Bio-similar developments.
