The Best of British Project features Team GB track athletes Julian Thomas, Jordan McGrath, Somto Eurchie and Luke Lennon Ford. All models featured in the project are hopefuls for the London 2012 Games and represent a generation of young British Athletes chas-ing the Olympic dream. The project was shot for a new, high-end fashion brand called One Nine Zero Six which will be launched in Autumn/Winter 2011 by the classic British sports manufacturer, Gymphlex. The project represents the Best of British both in terms of the quality and attention to detail of the clothes and in terms of athletes representing their country at the highest level. In keep-ing with the heritage of the brand the models have been placed in scenarios which depict classic, old school sports of the gen-trified classes such as falconry, archery, fencing and equestrian. This coupling of Olympic athletes, with the eccentric Britishness of the One Nine Zero Six brand, culminates in a series of portraits documenting Team GB athletes in the build up to London 2012.
