Even with the whole world in Corona Virus lockdown the insanity of politics marches on. Most state legislatures have been suspended, not cancelled. For the time being we are relatively safe from our elected officials.

Updated political shenanigans from the Granite State:

HB1660, Eldercare Gun Confiscation was passed by the committee. The full Senate has not voted on this bill.

HB1349, Establishing a committee to study firearms incidents involving children with access to unsecured firearms. Do we need legislation to require that firearms are locked, separated from ammo, and secured at all times? Anyone left their loaded 357 Magnum on the kitchen table while your seven-year-old is having breakfast lately? Responsible gun owners should be insulted and rightly so.

HB1350, The 2020 Gun Lock Tax – Requiring a locking device be provided for commercial (there’s that magic word again) firearm sales and transfers. The bill proports that it is in everyone’s interest to keep guns locked up to prevent accidents, injury or suicide. The truth is they’re attempting to force gun owners to keep their firearms under lock and key so that they won’t be accessible.

HB1608, The 2020 Magazine Ban – Prohibiting the manufacture, sale, transfer, and possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices. This one is self-explanatory.

HB1143, Repealing limited liability for manufacturers, distributors, dealers, or importers of firearms or ammunition. The attempt, by mostly Democrat legislators, to repeal the hard fought for legislation passed to protect the firearm industry from frivolous

lawsuits.

HB1115, Relative to the discharge of a firearm in the compact part of a city or town. This one has been around the block so many times it has its own parking space! It raises the legal distance from structures for discharge of a firearm from 300 feet to 900 feet. Another way the left is making it harder for law abiding citizens to use firearms.

HB1159, Political Incumbent Protection Act – Relative to cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and doxing of a public servant. This bill is intended to shut down outside groups (that’s us folks) from publishing the records and contact information for

those politicians in office.

The radical left has hijacked the legislature and is ramming unnecessary, unconstitutional bills down the throats of New Hampshire citizens. Each of these bills are intended to attack, and abridge the rights of gun owners, and to further restrict how and where gun owners will be allowed to exercise their rights.
