Take the Home Energy Audit and tell us about your appliances and home weatherization measures by answering some brief questions within the Find Ways to Save section. In return you will be given specific examples of ways to save energy and money tailored to your home. You’ll also receive a FREE energy efficiency kit that contains items that once installed will help decrease your natural gas usage.

NOTE: If you do not have a registered account you will need to create one. Registration is easy; simply provide your e-mail address and Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana account number and create a password.

Once on your Manage My Account page, choose Home Energy Audit from the list of options in the left sidebar. Click the Find Ways to Save tab and tell us more by selecting one of the topics such as Weatherization or Heating. A Home Profile must be completed to access Find Ways to Save.

There is no need to e-mail or call to confirm your entry; all transactions are monitored and automatically recorded at the time of online audit completion. Your FREE energy efficiency kit will be mailed within 4-6 weeks of audit completion. There is a limit of one energy efficiency kit per household since the promotion start date in April 2009. Offer is applicable only to residential accounts with active Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana natural gas service and is limited to the first 2,500 customers.

EligibilityThe contest is open to all students in grades 6-8 in schools throughout Vectren’s electric service area in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois and Spencer Counties. There is no limit to the number of entries submitted per school, but each student is only allowed to submit one essay and/or one art piece. Deadline for submission is April 18, 2012.
