Career Choices

TradingBuy low priced commodities on one world and sell at ahigh price on another. No additional equipment required. Recommend a CargoBay Expansion to be fitted.

Mining

Blast asteroids, scoop up the fragments and sell theminerals on the commodities market.Requires a Fuel Scoop and Mining Laser. Recommend aCargo Bay Expansion to be fitted.

Passenger ServiceWith a passenger berth fitted you take a traveller frompoint A to B for profit. Contract are available through theCarrier/Passenger screen.Requires a Passenger Birth. Recommend a Advanced Navigation Array to be fitted.

Carrier ServiceWith a big enough ship you can get paid for movingsome else’s bulk goods from A to B.Requires a ship with larger cargo bays. Recommend a

Advanced Navigation Array to be fitted.

Notes

• Ships which are unavailable for purchase at the GCW station shipyards for thefollowing reasons:

◦ Only ships fitted with a hyperspace jump drive are traded in GCW stationshipyards.

◦ Local government, GalNavy and GalPol ships can not be own by civilians.

◦ Designs which are produced in unlicensed/black-market shipyard can not besold through GCW station shipyards.

◦ Vessels which are no longer in prod uction.

◦ Ships of races/cultures outside of the Galactic Cooperative of Worlds.

• Ships dimensions are width x hight x length and are measured in metres

• Ships speed is measured as a percentage of Light Speed. 0.5-0.05 means that the

crafts top speed is half the speed of light and can accelerate at the rate of 5% of lightspeed.

• The ships banks and charge rate are graded on the KeZecky scale. A has thesmallest energy banks, ZZ the biggest . Higher the charging number the faster therecharging rate.

• The cargo space is measured in 1 ton cargo cannisters.

• The base price is calculated for craft with the base equipment fitted. Ships availablefor sale may be fitted with extra equipment, with a corresponding increase in price.

• The ship images are not to scale.
