Can anyone recommend an anthology of primary sources (not just backgrounds or criticism) for a senior-level introduction to modernist literature, primarily in English? The last time I taught this course I used Lawrence Rainey's *Modernism*, but for the well known reasons (eccentric selections, unfocused introductions, fine print, no pictures, and typos and editorial errors on almost every page) I'd rather not live through that experience again.

My modernism course this past summer was fully online and used entirely electronic....
With so much now out of copyright, when will the MSA start a creative commons critical collection? Crowd sourced?

Just to echo the laments, there has to my knowledge been nothing to replace Ellmann and Feidelson, which is weird considering how long ago they compiled that book and how little it anticipates any flavor of new modernist studies. Why don't some of you young-'uns try you [sic] hand at revising and updating it? You can likely leave out the proto-existentialism stuff that then was all the rage, which would give some room for including Mina Loy, DuBois, Stein, CLR James and more than a few others.
