Introduction

Argent Alu introduces to you the innovative and con-venient sliding door system argenta®slide for interior doors. This sliding door system can be installed quickly, easily and is reliably.

Using the patented Click-Fix system, the door panel can be attached to the roller assembly in one step, thereby saving a lot of time upon assembly.

Thanks to the patented Soft Stop system, the door is stopped and held in a measured and controlled manner. No more bumping and poorly closing sliding doors!

The argenta®slide system is available for both wooden and glass doors. Simultaneous and parallel fittings are also available.

Introduction

The “Standard Stop” has a rail buffer with a catch and rubber shock absorber.

The patented “Soft Stop” rail buffer enables solid and shock-free closing. No more bumping and poorly closing sliding doors. The door is stopped and held in a measured and controlled manner. The Soft-Stop is installed in the upper profile, requiring no space for extra mounting.

Roller assembly

The roller assembly (running gear) is made of synthetic (POM) wheels that revolve around enforced steel shafts (for types up to 40 kg) or bearings.

Slow-Stop

The special Slow Stop enables superior shock-free closing. The Slow Stop is a stop system and roller assembly in one and stops the door in a very gentle and controlled manner. The Slow Stop is installed in the upper profile requiring no extra space for mounting. Since the Slow Stop has a very large shock absorber, it can only be used in doors of at least 920 mm.

Components

In the “Classic-Fix” system the mounting plate is screwed on top of the door and the roller assembly is hooked onto this and attached to this.

With the “Click-Fix” the mounting plate is attached with screws on top of the door (surface mounting) or milled into the door (concealed mounting). The door can be attached to the roller assembly in one step as a result of this Click-Fix, enabling fast and reliable assembly. All preparations can therefore be made in the workshop.

Click-Fix

In the “Compact-Fix” system the mounting plate is milled into the door. The door is hooked on the roller assembly and secured. Thanks to the Compact-Fix’ compact size, there is only a minimal amount of free motion between the door and the upper rail.

Components

The drilled upper profiles 40/80, 160 and 240 can be mounted directly on the ceiling. Thanks to the wall brackets, these upper profiles can also be mounted onto the wall. The wall brackets need to be installed at 30 cm intervals.

Two types are available:- type 40/80 for doors with a maximum weight of 80 kg- type 160/240 for doors with a maximum weight of 240 kg.

The wall brackets can be used for upper profiles on both wooden and glass doors.

Sliding door fittings - glass doors

Thanks to these specially designed glass sets, glass doors can be attached to the argenta® slide sliding door system. Three types of glass sets are available; for 8, 10 or 12 mm glass doors. Suitable for both single and double glazing. The mounting system Click-Fix fits in these glass sets with either the Standard or the Soft-Stop.

Glass door panels of up to 60 kg can easily be installed with glass catches. We do recommend to drill Ø 12 mm holes in door panels of more than 60 kg and to secure the glass catches with the included plastic installation components.
