FBC Relay for Life team will have a garage sale October 6th. If you have items that you would donate, we will
collect them Oct. 1-5. Today, the Relay team along with the Montana
Mission Team will meet in the Parlor at 4:45 to plan a combined
project, GOURMET APPLES! We welcome anyone who is interested in
helping.
Dr. Laird’s book, Senior Moments with the Bible ($20) is available in the church office.
The Men’s Bible Study Kingdom Man, will meet each Thursday
at 6:00 a.m. in the FLC Parlor. All men are invited to participate.
Collected to date: $4,058.53
Women On Missions will meet on October 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the home
of Ms. Faye Miller.
We are gearing up for our annual Fall Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 24, one of the largest outreach events
of our church. If you’d like to show God’s love to Sumrall that evening, sign up sheets are on tables in
the foyer and at the Information Desk.
The Church Council will meet October 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room.
The bus will leave the church at 4 pm. If you plan to ride, contact the church office.

Student Ministry area.
Ladies Bible Studies
The Wednesday night Bible study, led by Britni Winburn, is continuing Iva May’s W3: Women, Worldview, and the Word. Books can be purchased at
www.chronologicalbibleteaching.com. Having a book is helpful but not required for participation. They meet in the Parlor at 6:20 pm on Wednesday.

Ms. Ellen Clark is leading Kaye Arthur’s Covenant. It’s not too late to begin the class. This study will meet in the Office building from 9-11:30 a.m. each Wednesday.
All ladies are invited. If you have a question, call Ms. Ellen Clark or the church office.
The Student Praise and Worship Choir will not meet today or next Sunday. All students 7th-12th grades are invited to join us in the Choir Room Sunday, October 14 at 4:15 for our next rehearsal.
It’s time to begin the process of establishing a budget for our 2019 church year. Committee chairs who need to request funds may pick up Budget Request

The Student Bible Study, “To the One Who Conquers” continues at 5 p.m. tonight.
Join us tonight for evening worship. We will ordain 2 new deacons tonight at 6 pm, Willie Brumfield and Josh Williamson. The ordination council will meet at 4:30 p.m.
There will be NO kid or student activities held on Wednesday, October 10 due to Fall Break. There will be NO meal. Prayer Meeting only at 6:30 pm.
