Summary: NBNSCOE, Annual Prize distribution function was organized in ENTC Seminar Hall.

Miss. Sayali Jadhav (BE Civil) was selected as the ‘Best Outgoing Student of the

Institute’ for Academic year 2017-18. Special awards for Best academic Performance,

Best attentive student award, Best Technocrat of the Institute, Best Paper presentation

certificates and Best outgoing student of the Department were given to the deserving

students from this academic year.

Prof. A. M. Kalje explained the Criterion for selecting the students for these awards. This

includes not only the Academic but the co-curricular, extracurricular activities

performance of the students, as a coordinator, participation or even as a volunteer at

College, University, State level and National level. Students need to show proofs for all

these activities. Not only this but students participation in Social activities like NSS or

their contribution in resolving any other issues of the Society are also be taken into

consideration and specific weightage is given to all these contributions of the students.

Obviously, Institute is encouraging the students, to be a part of all these activities and

giving platform for them to develop themselves as an overall engineer and the responsible

citizen of India.

All departmental ‘Best outgoing students’ were felicitated in this function. All student

council members, Presidents of Student association of every department were also

felicitated with appreciation letter and Memento on this occasion at the hands of Hon.

Campus Director, Respected Principal and dignitaries on the Dias. Letters of Krishna-

Kamal Scholarship are given to the respective student’s project groups.

Mr. Shakeeb Khan shared the poem Yadein in this function, which has changed the

environment in the Hall, taking all in the past, where they shared their precious moments

of student life with friends, moments at UMANG, DISTA, canteen and DAZ………..

Few students and the award winners shared their experiences at Sinhgad Institute.

Respected Principal Sir, wished very best for the upcoming examinations and for the

bright future career of the students. He appealed all, to be an active member of Alumina

Association of the Institute and invited all for the Alumina Meet every year.

Campus director Sir extended his best wishes to all students saying, they should work hard

for the benefit of their family, society in future and should work to make the identity as a

‘Sinhgad Student’ at their workplace.

Prof. S. H. Kshirsagar gave vote of thanks to all, who helped to make this program

memorable.
