Demand Management integration is only the beginning… The Demantra acquisition brought the following key technology and functionality to Oracle’s product suite: Demand Management – foundation of Demantra’s technology; includes the state-of-the-art Bayesian forecasting Demantra is known for, as well as pre-seeded hierarchies, worksheets and workflows to analyze and disseminate critical forecast information. The goal is to get you out of the gate running! Flexible and unlimited hierarchies enable you to support planning the way your business works and facilitates collaboration by enabling each stakeholder to view and edit data in the format and levels they are comfortable with. The pre-seeded hierarchies map to key EBS and E1 hierarchies and can be extended as necessary. Demantra provides unlimited hierarchies for multi-dimensional analysis and provides aggregation and allocation to synchronize data regardless of the level at which it comes in. The Demand Management application provides an out-of-the-box hierarchy to support most customer business models. But, it can be easily upgraded to support an extended business hierarchy.
