Weekly Focus on Missions

World Missions: Valery and Janna Morozov serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in St. Petersburg, Russia. Their goal is to prepare and send workers to the most forgotten and hidden people groups in the world. Wycliffe Russia has sent twenty missionaries who are working on eighteen different Bible translation projects. Please pray for this team of dispersed missionaries, for the new staff candidates who will be joining them this year, and for plans for an upcoming sabbatical this fall.Mission Memphis: Victims to Victory reports that 2011 was one of the most financially turbulent years they’ve had, but they are praising God for His faithfulness as they saw new streams of revenue come in, allowing them to stay in ministry, increase their volunteer base, and establish partnerships with more churches and local businesses. They were especially encouraged at their annual Candlelight Vigil, which served more clients and involved more volunteers than ever before — how wonderful and blessed is the favor of the Lord upon of His people!!
