selection, The Promise by Tony Evans tomorrow night at 7pm in

the Parlor. All ladies are encouraged to attend for a great study

on the Fall Women’s Retreat.

• THE PROMISE Outdoor Presentation of the Life of Christ: Friday-

• SUMMER CAMP (July 7th - 12th) for all students finishing up

Grades 6-12. Registration is open through June 26. Applications

PRESCHOOL/CHILDRENS MINISTRY

• KINGDOM ROCK VBS 2013 - STARTS TOMORROW, for kids

entering PreK through Gr. 6. Online registration closes today at

2pm. Registration at the door opens Monday morning at 8:45am.

• WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP! We need additional Crew Leaders to

move the children from station to station and Parking Lot Helpers

to direct traffic during the car-rider line at the noon dismissal

each day. If you can help in either of these areas, please see

Suzy Tarver in the Main Foyer today or call the church office!

• VBS PRAYER GUIDES are available in the Main Foyer. Please pick

up a copy and commit to pray for VBS this week.

• VBS Meetings TODAY - an orientation meeting for Station Leaders

is today at 3:00 and Crew Leaders at 4:00 in the Worship Center.

MISSIONS/DISCIPLESHIP

• Faith, Hope and Luck: Discover What You Can Expect From God -

a 5-session study will begin this Wednesday night in the Garden

Room, taught by Pastor Jay. Chris Stanley will continue to lead a

class especially for Men and momsLife, led by Cyndi Fields will

continue through the summer.

• Disaster Relief – we are still accepting donations for West, Texas

and Moore, Oklahoma. If you would like to make a donation,

you can do so at the Information Desk today by credit or check

card, on-line at www.wcbc.us or by cash or check in a pink

envelope. Make sure you designate which location on the

envelope!

Vacation Bible School Starts Tomorrow!

This week is always one of the highlights of the summer around

West Conroe as hundreds of kids will be swarming in here for an

exciting five days. Make sure that your kids and grandkids,

nieces and nephews are signed up to be part of “Kingdom

Rock!”

Welcome Pastors Mike Palmer and Mark Terry

Today is a “Partnership Missions Day” as we highlight two great

churches that we have partnered with over the last few years.

Mike Palmer is Pastor of Salmon Valley Baptist Church and

Lemhi River Cowboy Church in Idaho where we have done a

major project each summer for the last several years and are

scheduled to be there July 20-27, 2013. Mark Terry is Pastor of

Cut’n Shoot Cowboy Church which we helped sponsor as a

mission church. I am glad to have these two men of God here

today and look forward to hearing what the Lord is doing in

their respective churches.

Two New Fellowship Tools Coming Soon

1. Next week we will begin making available a form for a new

West Conroe Yellow Pages. They will be on our website

and in the foyer. If you have a business or service, we want

your information. Our folks ask all the time if we have a

certain business person or service in the church. We won’t

be recommending anyone, but we will network to get your

information out.

2. This August/September we will be doing a new pictorial

directory. It will be the easiest directory yet. You will be

able to schedule your own appointment online, if you wish.

These books are so valuable to help learn each other’s

name and face. You will get a free 8x10 family portrait and

have the opportunity, but don’t have to buy additional

pictures, plus you’ll get a free directory if your picture is in it!

Sign up will begin later this month.
