Import your collection

To import your rodent strain collection info, download

Labguru’s template, fill it (do not change columns’ headers or

order) and upload the file. After file is uploaded, choose to start

import

Import your collection

To enable additional customized fields to your rodent table do

the following before downloading the template: go to Settings (under account

name), choose Collections tab and click on customized for rodent (strain / specimen)

• Share your rodents with colleagues and see what they share with you• See which rodents your colleagues work with, ask for advices or ask to

borrow specific fly• Create different repositories to share with different people

New repository

1 To share your rodents with your colleagues, easily create a new

repository: name your repository send an invitation (you can add invitations at any

time)

2 Once a repository exist, you can add a

strain directly from the info tab

Custom fields

1 View both default and customized field. Customized fields can

be deleted if never used

2 Enter field name, select field type from the list (optionally,

mark field as mandatory) and click to add it to your module’s

fields

1 Change the order in which fields are presented in the index table by dragging and

To enable the “add litters” option, mark cage as a breeding cage (when creating a new cage

or by editing an existing one) and add at least one female and

one male to your cage
