Communion to the homebound For those unable to attend Mass due to illness or disability, arrangements can be made to receive Holy Communion weekly by an Extra Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Please contact the rectory. Emergencies In the event of an emergency, which requires the attention of a priest, please contact the rectory at any time. The food cupboard has an ongoing need for cereal and canned items such as: fruit (low sugar), ravioli and other pasta. Please place items in the marked box in the back of OLC and St. Malachy.
EASTER EGG HUNT Children and their families are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt at the SPC immediately after the 11:00am Mass on Easter Sunday, April 16. Light refreshments will be provided...and LOTS of Easter eggs. Donations of candy can be placed in the Easter Egg Hunt donation bins at Our Lady of Consolation Church and at the Schneider Parish Center. Volunteers are needed for this fun filled event! Calling All teens!! Our OLC Life Teen group will be having a “Root 'in for Theology” on Sunday April 23, after the 11:00am Mass at the Schneider Parish Center. All teens are invited to attend and come with ques-tions in mind to ask Father Eschbach and a special visitor. We will provide root beer floats and pizza for the teens. OLC-ELC OLC-ELC will be closed April 10-April 17 for Spring Break. Our classes will resume on Tuesday, April 18. Upon our return we will be preparing for our spring conferences and our very first Usborne Book Fair! “My four year old twins LOVE OLC ELC and they are so excited to see their teachers and friends 3 times a week. They will even ask on their off days if they can go to school. OLC ELC has given so much joy to watch the twins thrive and even became more individuals as they learn and explore differently throughout their day. The twins are loved, they are made to feel like super stars and most importantly it is all in the teaching of Jesus! We are so blessed to have this extraordinary, safe, loving preschool in our very own parish and town. We couldn’t love it more. We are fortunate to send the twins for the 3 year old class, the 4 year old class and will be returning for a pre-k opportunity due to the August birthdays of the twins. Birthright Baby Shower Birthright is a non-profit organization which provides emotional support, practical assistance, and is com-mitted to offering free, non-judgmental help to wom-en facing unplanned pregnancies. Birthright offers love, hope and guidance to each woman, to help her make a realistic plan for her fu-ture and the future of her unborn child.
