Wednesday, October 11th at Fortune’s Restaurant in
Batavia Downs on Park Road in Batavia. Please call
Norma Kelly at 494-0301 by Monday, October 9th to
make a reservation. This is a social support group open to
anyone who has lost a loved one.
THURSDAYS: Eucharistic Adoration follows the
8:00am Mass concluding at 6:30pm with Evening Prayer
and Benediction.
St. Brigid’s Happenings
BOOK CLUB meets on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:30
p.m. in the Parish Hall. We are reading Killers of the
Flower Moon by David Grann and "Rediscover Jesus" by
Matthew Kelly chapters 22-24. Join us for fellowship
and snacks.
THE LADIES OF CHARITY will meet October 9th.
We will begin at 6:00 pm with a Mass for Jennifer
Holbrook and other deceased Ladies of Charity. Mass
with be followed by our regular October meeting. Come
pray with us.
RECYCLED TEENS: Next event is Thursday Oct. 19th
Karen Hall from the Office of the Aging will speak to us
about senior medical fraud. We will have lunch at Eagles
Restaurant in Brockport.
ST. BRIGID’S ANNUAL COAT
DRIVE: Time to start your Fall
cleaning? We would love to share
your gently used coats that you no
longer need with people who will
really appreciate them this winter.
We are welcoming children's coats as
well. Last year we donated a record 93 coats (along with
knit or crocheted scarfs that our Yarn Group had created).
Bins will be in the back of our church the last two week
ends in October 21-22 and 28-29. Thank you for your
contributions.
MINISTRY SCHEDULE: The Ministry Schedule for
November and December is in progress. If you are not
available during that time and need to make changes,
please contact the appropriate volunteer and let them
know. Thanks!
THE LADIES OF CHARITY are sponsoring a food
drive for the Backpack Program at Byron-Bergen
Schools. (This program is run by the Byron Presbyterian
Church.). Food is distributed to local children in need.
Tags indicating needed food items are available in the
back of church and in the church hall. Please leave your
donations in the church hall by Sunday, October 22nd.

THE HOLY ROSARY is recited a half hour before each
weekend Mass. Saturday Rosary begins at 4:30pm.
Sunday Rosary is recited at 8:30am. Please join your
