Next Weekend’s Gospel: August 9, 2020 - 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Lord, command me to come to you on the water.”

In lieu of physically receiving Holy Communion we invite you to say this prayer:

My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all

things, and I long for You in my being. Since I cannot now receive You sacra-

mentally, come spiritually into my heart. I embrace You and unite myself entire-

ly to You; never permit me to be separated from You.

LITURGICAL MINISTERS

If you are scheduled as a Eucharistic Minister or a

Welcome Desk Attendant... you need to register

yourself with your family for that particular mass

to reserve a place in the Church.

Items of concern as you plan to return to Mass:

1. Take your temperature before coming to Mass. If you have a temp of 100

degrees Fahrenheit (37.8C) or over, you must remain home.

2. Do you have any other symptoms of Covid-19 like a dry cough or

difficulty breathing you must stay home.

3. If you have been in contact with anyone with Covid 19 in the past two

weeks, you must stay home. Please bring a mask to wear during Mass.

Must be warn coming into and going out of church and at communion.

4. Please use the washroom before coming to church. We will use the family

washroom for emergencies.

5. Follow all the instructions of ushers coming in, at communion time and

when exiting.

6. If you would like to volunteer to help with the cleaning of pews after a

weekend mass call the office. You can register as a “bubble family” ie your extended family… people you have

chosen and agree to be close to without distancing.

The Other Sacraments

BAPTISMS:

Deacon Mike and I will be calling the

families who have requested baptisms.

We must do them ONE at a time. Times

and schedules will be set up and phone

calls made.

FIRST COMMUNION: Tina has been in touch with families and

we are making arrangements. We have

added a Sunday afternoon mass for

families with First Communion

candidates. All Covid 19 precautions

remain firmly in place.

CONFIRMATION:

At this time the Diocesan policy is to

wait for September. Blame Covid19.

CONFESSIONS:

A new and permanent change for the

time of confessions: every Saturday

from 3-4 PM… a much more private

time.

MARRIAGES:

Marriages are now being celebrated with

as many guests as is possible with the

social distancing in place. No pictures

please on our grounds.

FUNERALS:

Funerals are being celebrated in our

churches. The Funeral Homes are given

the maps of our seating plan. They

arrange the seating themselves and usher

folks in and out. We have already had

two that worked well with this

arrangement.

**REMINDER: Windsor is still in Phase 2, whereas the rest of the Diocese

of London is in Phase 3. The parish office remains closed as well as the meeting rooms. All groups should keep this in mind when planning your year. No appointments in person. You must call or email the church in re-gards to mass intentions. You may put your offerings and payments in the locked mailbox.
