March 14th, 2021. Fourth Sunday of Lent.
¿Aún no he sido concebido?
From Father Hector’s Desk
DEL ESCRITORIO DEL PADRE HECTOR
From the Gospel reading: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that
everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. For God did not sent his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior”
(John 3, 16-17).
Reflection: Some Bible experts consider these two verses to be the best summary of the
whole Sacred Scriptures, because: First, they contain a beautiful summary of the Bible. Second, they contain a beautiful illustration of how the Old Testament and the New Testament fit
together. Third, they illustrate how, if we have faith in Jesus, we can also always get something good even from the worst scenarios. Finally, they illustrate how Jesus is our lifeline as we pass
from earth to heaven; He supplies us with life-giving grace.
So, we ask ourselves: What first aroused my interest in Jesus? Why?
Where am I right now in the birthing process of spiritual life: Not yet conceived? Developing, but not so anyone could tell? Heavy with child and waiting? Kicking and screaming like an
infant? Growing daily? When did I begin to see God as saving me, rather than condemning me?

OLPHTampa.org is Secure By Vic Omila, Software Application Developer and OLPH’s Webmaster.
Whether you're catching up on current events, searching for a recipe for pot roast, or looking up the time for the Easter Vigil Mass, chances are you've run into an unsecure website. Different browsers have different ways of telling you this and there are different scenarios for each one as well, but have you ever wondered if you've been compromised by visiting one of these sites or, better yet, why are there unsescure websites to begin with? It is important to know that an unsecure website is different from a malicious website. Let's look at the difference between the two. A malicious website is one that will attempt to run unwanted programs on your computer for different pur-poses like getting personal information , gaining access to your files, or taking control of your computer. Your browser will give you a different, more evident alert for these types of websites. An unsecure website means that it is not using a secure connection and information going to and from it is not encrypted. This becomes an issue when you are filling out online forms, especially those that require you to enter personal and financial information because it makes it easy for bad people to intercept the transfer of information, especially in public, unsecure networks. Please note that a website can be secure and malicious at the same time so pay attention to alerts coming from your browser, and always check if a site is secure before entering your information in online forms. You will be happy to know that you are reading this article from a secure website! Our Lady of Perpetual Help's website, olphtampa.org, uses an SSL certificate to encrypt all information going through the website and is subscribed to a web hosting plan that uses a secure connection. Our Online Giving portal, OSV Hub, and our diocese website, dosp.org, are also secure websites. For more information about our website and oth-er programs at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, please complete the form on our contact page. It's secure!
OLPH SPRING CLEAN-UP
Dear Parishioners, as the parish does not have a maintenance crew for this purpose, the grounds su-
rrounding the church desperately need our attention. On Saturday, March 27th, beginning at 9 A.M., vo-
lunteers are asked to bring their yard tools to assist in the Spring clean-up in time for Easter Masses.
Example: Rakes, shovels, blowers, weed-eaters, large yard-waste plastic bags, hedge trimmers, clippers,
etc. Be sure to bring your snacks, lunch, and cold beverages, as well as a sun hat and gloves. If there is
a parishioner who designs landscapes and any parishioners who own a plant nursery, please contact Pa-
rish Council member, Clarisse Castro, by texting or calling (813) 215-8478, or by email
The OLPH community and its Pastor Fr.
Hector Cruz are glad to congratulate
and are thankfull for the beautiful Len-
ten Decoration made by our beloved
Parish Council President Mrs. Dae Si-
meon and Delia Riley her friend and
neighbor.

Pope Francis' Favored Prayers to St. Joseph
The two prayers below are mentioned and recommended to the faithful by Pope Francis in his apostolic letter Patris Corde (With a Father’s Heart) declaring the Year of St. Joseph.
Pope Francis states: Every day, for over forty years, following Lauds I have recited a prayer to Saint Joseph taken from a nineteenth-century French prayer book of the Congregation of the Sisters of Jesus and Mary. It expresses devotion and trust, and even poses a certain challenge to Saint Joseph:
Glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, whose power makes the impossible possible, come to my aid in these times of anguish and difficulty. Take under your protection the serious and troubling situationst-hat I commend to you, that they may have a happy outcome. My beloved father, all my trust is in you.Let it not be said that I invoked you in vain, and since you can do everything with Jesus and Mary, show me that your goodness is as great as your power. Amen.
Pope Francis concludes his apostolic letter with this prayer to St. Joseph: Hail, Guardian of the Redee-mer,Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.To you God entrusted his only Son;in you Mary placed her trust;with you Christ became man. Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a fatherand guide us in the path of life.Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen.
