the calendar this term including: 125th

appreciate it, if parents would let other

for next year. New parents to the
school are encouraged to make an
appointment to see myself for a tour of
the school.
NAPLAN In week 5 all our Year 3 and 5 students

receive a separate letter and

MUSIC UPDATE
Lantunda Project The Year 5/6’s have been very fortunate to be
invited to work with some visiting artists who
have introduced us to shadow puppetry.
We have learnt to build our own puppets,
develop a story for performance as well as
puppeteering skills. On Saturday 30 April, our
Lantunda project will see the Pollard Gardens
pavilion transformed into a giant lantern on
which we will be performing our shadow puppet
stories at approximately 6pm after a free BBQ
dinner. You are all welcome to attend and we
hope to see you all at the show supporting our
students.
2016 School Concert It’s that time of the year when we start
preparations for our upcoming school concert
that will be held in Term 3. Our first meeting will
be held on Thursday 21 April at 1:40pm in the Art
room. We hope to see many of you there! If you
are unable to attend this meeting but would still
like to join the concert committee, or are able to
help in other ways, please leave your name at

Last week everyone went to the 52 Storey Treehouse. We all went on a tour of the 52 Storey Treehouse. It was fun. The thing with the actors was incredible. It was really funny when they farted on stage. By Lillian
On the 14th of April we went to the 52 Story Treehouse. It was amazing! I was scared because I thought I would fall off the balcony. My favourite part was when Terry was training his ninja snails. By Muhammad
On the 14th of April the whole school went to see the 52 Storey Treehouse. It was at the Arts Centre. They did a wonderful job! It was funny. A lady taught us about the pictures and who built the Arts Centre and showed us behind the scenes. Then we went to the garden. We had our snack and lunch, and Mr Mac laid out some games. Then we went back in to watch the show. It was fun. By Charlie
