USCS O&M Solutions adopts a tailored approach to the delivery of services, geared for optimal performance of the lifetime of the asset. We customize our range of solutions to the needs of our customer to include initial project support, mobilization, technology and knowledge transfer.

The objective is to equip the owner’s in house staff,with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver on the key performance objectives of the plant. This is achieved via transfer of knowledge and know-how from our staff to the owner’s staff. At the outset we carry out a review of the skills and capabilities of the owners staff and depending on the skill level, we will recommend the appropriate number of USCS advisory roles.

We also offer O&M consulting services such as operational, maintenance, equipment performance and energy audits as well as organizational performance reviews. We also offer a fixed cost to gener-ate chilled water per ton agreements, giving plant owners a fixed firm cost per ton for the production of chilled water including all O&M and utility cost. Should the cost exceed the guaranteed cost to produce a ton, USCS will pay the additional cost, so the plant owner has a firm fixed budget for O&M and utilities.

The heart of a Chilled Water plant/District cooling plant is the Chillers! USCS as a Large Tonnage chiller specialist organization and an Energy Services Company is thereby uniquely positioned as a specialist plant O&M provider. We have a clear understanding of the chillers’ needs with regards to reliability and energy efficiency allowing us to work closely with developers and owners to identify and implement solutions that greatly improve the chillers’ operating efficiency through enhanced mainte-nance, operational strategies, chiller plant retrofits and upgrades.
