3. Integumentary-Main job is protection and touch-Contains skin, hair, nails, and sweat glands-You have about 2 million sweat glands in your body
4. Digestive-Job is break down food you eat into a useable form for energy-Contains mouth, stomach, intestines, etc.-Your small intestine is about 21 ft.
5. CirculatoryJob= transport material throughout the body-Major players =blood, heart, and blood vessels-on Average the human heart beats 3 BILLION times in your life.
6. RespiratoryJob- is to take Oxygen to all your cells and remove Carbon Dioxide.Organs= Mouth, Nose, Lungs, etc.-Your right lung is slightly bigger than your left
7. NervousJob- is to send electrical impulses throughout your bodyOrgans- Brain, Spinal Cord, Nerves, etc.-The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body so the left side of the brain controls the right side of your body
8. Lymphatic-Also called the Immune system-Job is to keep you healthy by killing bacteria, viruses, tumors, cancers, etc.-Organs= spleen, lymph nodes, bone marrow-Eating chicken noodle soup helps this system fight of germs.
9. EndocrineJob- is to send chemical messages throughout your body through the use of hormones.Organs= pancreas, thymus gland, adrenal gland-Behavior and characteristic of a person is largely influenced by this system.
10. UrinaryJob- get rid of liquid waste from your bodyOrgans= kidneys and bladder-Your right kidney is slightly higher than your left in your body.
