SAT The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) has for 85 years been the entry route of choice for college aspirants in America. The exam is conducted by an organization called the College Board. There are two types of SAT exams, appropriately titled SAT I and SAT II. The former evaluates three basic skills Math, Writing and Critical Reading. The latter is a subject specific test and is relevant for those who are looking at specializing in a particular area. Some of the more popular SAT II subject areas are Biology, Mathematics, English Literature, etc. In general, universities only require SAT I, but premier schools often require two or more SAT II Tests SAT I Critical Section Sentence completion questions test knowledge of the meaning of words and the ability to understand how a sentence fits together.
