Description: Matching Letterhead and buis-ness card designed using a personally cre-ated Logo
Date: Nov 8, 2015
Course/Instructor: Emily Kunz
Program(s)/Tools: Adobe Illistrator, Photo-Shop
Objectives: The company divorce knowHow is a company I did some development work and design work for. They focus on getting people to use their online forms to fill out all of their divorce papers in order to file for a divorce online.
Process: I used a mixture of adobe illus-trator and Indesign in order to create this project. I like to make my logos as simple as I can while focusing as much effort as pos-sible in the message my client is trying to portray. I feel like the logo is subtle but ele-gant and catches your eye and the message is clear. In order to create letter head I used Indesign. I tried to incorporate as much of the business card design elements into the letter head as I possibly could and I feel like it came out very clean and nice.

Program(s)/Tools: Adobe InDesign
Objectives: Create a flier that was appeal-ing to those looking to find a professional career once they have graduated.

Flier
Description: This my logo design project. I will be using this logo as my logo for my portfolio website I am creating. The J of Jef-fery can be found in the umbrella stick and the D for Davis is found in the umbrella.
Date: Nov 1,2015
Course/Instructor: Emily Kunz
Program(s)/Tools: Adobe Illistrator
Objectives: In this project I was just trying to think of a way to creatively use the J and D of my name while letting my personality shine through the design. I believe my au-dience would be anyone interested in hav-ing any web development done or a future employer looking at my portfolio.
Process: I created this project by using ado-be illustrator. I used a mixture of typeface skills and manipulation of typefaces by con-verting them into objects and dividing the shapes in order to create the exact shapes I wanted without loosing the effect of the typeface used.
Logo

The main purpose of the the bro-chure is to get people to help them find new places to go or if they have a product they would like them to use on the adven-ture in which they would advertise they will do that as well.
Date: Dec 6, 2015
Course/Instructor: Emily Kunz
Program(s)/Tools: Adobe InDesign, Photo-shop
Objectives: I was hoping the design would get anyone interested in the outdoors and adventures interested in being apart of their company.
Process: I was hoping that I could use earthy colors to give the brochure a modern look as well as the feeling of the outdoors due to what this company is all about.
Brochure
Description: This project was to teach us how to design in word and to use a scanned in high quality image.
Date: Oct. 11, 2015
Course/Instructor: Emily Kunz
Program(s)/Tools: Microsoft Word
Objectives: I hope this flyer has a very el-egant feel to it and shows how important these animal adoptions are. I also wanted to give it the elegant feel to show that adopt-ing an animal is a big deal and needs to be treated with respect and responsibility.
Process: My first design compared to my final design is what I believe to be night and day. In my first design I used only black and white. In the final I pulled the blue from the image I scanned in and I think it added a much needed “Pop” to the design.

Description: This was a project where we had to go and take a photo with one of the principles learned this week about photography.I chose to do a front focus background blur of an orange grove near a family members house I was visiting in yu-caipa California. I feel like the photo turned out exactly how I was wanting but I feel like the other part of designing within photo-shop could have been a little better had I had more time to practice. I think another challenging part of this project was picking the right colors and color schemes. This was pretty difficult but I feel like the colors came out how I was hoping they would.
